Overview

Mellieha Bay (Ghadira Bay) is the largest sandy beach in Malta, located in the north of the island. This spot offers a shallow and relatively sheltered body of water, ideal for beginners and intermediates. Northwesterly (Maestral) and northeasterly (Grigal) winds work well here. The bay is shallow over a large distance, making the spot safe.
