Ventės Ragas (Cape Ventė) is a promontory on the eastern shore of the Curonian Lagoon in Lithuania. It is a unique kitesurfing spot on the lagoon, known for its lighthouse and historic ornithological station.
The spot is on the lagoon side, offering flat and shallow waters. Westerly winds are most favourable, blowing across the lagoon. The bottom is sandy and muddy. The lagoon offers excellent flat water conditions.
Ventės Ragas is a remote location with very limited services. The season runs from May to October. The spot suits intermediate riders. The Ventė bird ringing station is one of the oldest in Europe.
