Pavilosta is a small fishing port on Latvia's west coast that has become a premier windsurfing and kitesurfing destination in the Baltics. The spot is known for its consistent wind conditions and long sandy beach.

The coast faces west, directly exposed to the prevailing Baltic winds. West and south-west winds blow side-shore, creating excellent sailing conditions. The spot can become quite challenging in strong winds with significant chop.

Pavilosta hosts an annual windsurfing festival that attracts riders from across the Baltic region. The village has some accommodation and dining options. The season runs from May to October.
