Karosta is a former military district located north of Liepāja, Latvia. Karosta Beach offers a unique setting for kitesurfing, with ruins of Soviet fortifications in the background.

The beach faces west, directly exposed to the Baltic Sea. West and south-west winds are most favourable. The spot is less crowded than Liepāja's main beach, offering more space. The bottom is sandy.

Access is from the Karosta district. The spot suits intermediate to advanced riders. The season runs from May to October. The area is historically interesting with its military past.
