Vada is a seaside resort located on the Costa degli Etruschi, between Cecina and Rosignano Marittimo. The sandy beach stretches for several kilometers, known for its crystal-clear waters with Caribbean-like reflections due to limestone discharge (the "Spiagge Bianche" are just to the north). The spot works well with the Maestrale (northwest) and Libeccio (southwest) which blow side-shore on this west-facing coast. Conditions are generally accessible with a body of water that progressively increases in power further from shore.
