Stagno di Mistras is a lagoon kitesurf spot near Cabras and Oristano on the west coast of Sardinia, adjacent to the Sinis Peninsula. This shallow coastal lagoon is a protected wetland famous for its large flamingo colonies. The Maestrale (northwest) blows reliably across the lagoon, creating ideal flat water conditions. The extraordinary natural setting — with pink flamingos wading in the shallows while you kite — makes this one of the most unique spots in the Mediterranean.
