San Pietro is a kitesurf spot on the north coast of Sardinia, near Porto Torres, in the area of the Platamona lagoon. The spot benefits from northerly winds (Maestrale, Tramontane) and also the Levante (east-southeast). The lagoon provides flat water conditions ideal for freestyle and learning. Situated between Sassari and Porto Torres, the area is easily accessible and close to urban services. The Asinara national park island is visible on the horizon, adding to the scenic appeal.

Parking along the Platamona Lido road, accessible from Porto Torres or Sassari via the SS131. Beach bars and restaurants open in summer. Easy access year-round.
Tidal influence — check tide tables before your session. Rocky areas on the north shore of the Platamona lagoon. Ferry traffic between the mainland and Asinara island nearby. Wind can be gusty around the San Pietro headland.
