Pittulongu is a well-known kitesurf spot near Olbia, on the northeast coast of Sardinia. The beach is long and sandy, with a wide rigging area. It receives both the Maestrale (northwest) and the Tramontane/Gregale (north-northeast), as well as the Levante (southeast). Close to Olbia airport, it is very accessible for travelling kiters. The Olbia Gulf provides some wave protection, making conditions suitable for a wide range of levels. Kite schools and rental shops are present in the area.

Large free parking lot behind the beach, accessible from the coastal road north of Olbia. Easy access from the airport or city centre. Bars and restaurants on the beachfront.
Tidal influence — check tide tables before your session. Rocky shoreline north and south of the beach. Boat traffic near the Olbia Gulf. Maestrale can be gusty near the headland. Beware of swimmers in the marked zones in summer.
