Mugoni is a kitesurf spot on the northwest coast of Sardinia, in the Alghero area, within the Porto Conte regional nature park. The beach stretches across a well-sheltered bay with stunning views of Capo Caccia. The Maestrale (northwest) is the dominant wind, blowing regularly in summer. Water quality is exceptional thanks to the protection of the nature park. The atmosphere is wild and unspoilt, far removed from mass tourist areas.

Parking within the Porto Conte nature park, accessible from the SP55 road towards Capo Caccia. Entry fee may apply depending on season. Arrive early in summer — parking fills up quickly.
Protected natural area — respect park regulations. Rocky entry points in some sections. Swimmers present in summer. The Maestrale can be strong with gusts — do not underestimate wind power in the bay.
