Overview

Maritza is a kitesurf spot on the north coast of Sardinia, close to the medieval town of Castelsardo. Exceptionally exposed to winds from almost every direction, it offers great versatility throughout the season. The Maestrale, Tramontane, Libeccio and Scirocco all reach this beach at various times. The spot is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Castelsardo castle perched on its rocky headland. Suitable for all levels, with flat water near the shore and more lively conditions further out.
