Principina a Mare is a beach located in the Parco Naturale della Maremma, south of Grosseto. This wild and preserved spot offers a long sandy beach facing the Tyrrhenian Sea, in an exceptional natural setting. The spot is exposed to Libeccio (southwest) and Maestrale (northwest) winds which arrive side-shore to onshore. Conditions can be demanding in strong Libeccio with significant waves. A spot for nature lovers and sometimes challenging conditions.

Parking available at the entrance to Principina a Mare beach. Paid in summer. The beach is accessible on foot from the parking (a few minutes walk). Limited access due to the natural park.
Strong currents possible in sustained Libeccio. Powerful shore break from southwest swell. Isolated area with little supervision. Respect the rules of the Parco della Maremma.
