Marina di Vasto is the southernmost spot on the Abruzzi coast, near the border with Molise. The sandy beach stretches at the foot of the historic town of Vasto, perched on a hill with its Aragonese castle. Adriatic winds: Bora (NE), Levante (E), Scirocco (SE). The coast angles slightly more towards the southeast here, making the Scirocco more onshore. Pleasant setting with the old town in the background.
