Karystos is a kitesurfing spot located at the southern tip of the island of Euboea (Evvoia), in Greece. This spot benefits from the famous Meltemi wind that blows powerfully through the channel between Euboea and Andros island, creating regular and sustained wind conditions in summer. Karystos bay offers a relatively flat body of water with easy water access. The prevailing north-northeasterly winds make it an ideal spot for kitesurfing and windsurfing during the summer season, from June to September.
