Simos is the second spot on Elafonisos, next to Sarakiniko. This double white sand beach (Big Simos and Small Simos) is considered one of Greece's most beautiful beaches. Wind conditions are identical to Sarakiniko, with NW/W side-onshore wind in summer. The double tombolo creates two distinct bays offering variable protection depending on wind direction.
Rideable May-September. Launch from white sand beaches. Choice of two bays depending on conditions. Flat to moderate water. Very touristy — respect swimmers.
