Xantener Nordsee is an artificial lake located in North Rhine-Westphalia, near the town of Xanten. This inland body of water offers good kitesurfing conditions with a flat and consistent water surface. Westerly and southwesterly winds prevail in the region. The lake offers enough space to sail and the flat water is suitable for beginners and intermediates. It is a popular spot for kitesurfers in the Lower Rhine area.
