The Brombachsee (Grosser Brombachsee) is a reservoir lake in central Bavaria (Franconia), built in the 1980s. Allmannsdorf is one of the main spots on the lake, with a flat standing area and occasional thermal wind in the afternoon in spring and autumn. Quiet setting, flat to slightly choppy water. Best season: April-June and September-November.
