Ponan is a kitesurf spot on the north shore of the Seine estuary (Seine-Maritime), near Sainte-Adresse and Le Havre. This flat sandy beach at the mouth of the Seine catches the dominant West and West-North-West winds that funnel up the estuary from the open sea.

Tidal spot with large tidal range. The Seine estuary has significant boat traffic from the Le Havre port — stay aware of navigation rules and shipping lanes. Good flat water conditions in the right wind window.
