Val André is the main beach of Pléneuf-Val-André (Côtes d'Armor), one of the largest and most popular resorts on the Côte d'Armor. Large sandy beach well exposed to SW/W/NW winds. O-Rider's school based directly on the beach (kitesurf, wingfoil). Emblematic seaside resort: casino, promenade, Verdelet islet accessible at low tide.
O-Rider's School (o-rider-school.com) — kitesurf and wingfoil school at Ville-Berneuf, Pléneuf-Val-André, directly adjacent to the beach. Kite to Breizh (kitetobreizh.fr) — school on Route des Banches, also active here. KiteCenter22 (kitecenter22.fr) — Erquy-based school, uses Val André area as a complementary spot.

Pointe de Pléneuf-Val-André generates gusts at high tide regardless of direction. Do not approach the supervised bathing areas. Cohabitation with surfers, sand yachts, bodyboarders. Summer: check current municipal orders and authorized zones (contact Tourist Office Cap d'Erquy Val André or local schools).
Works SW, WSW, W (existing rose) and NW. Disrupted by Pointe de Pléneuf-Val-André at high tide in NW. More regular conditions at low tide. Complementary to Caroual (Erquy, 10km west) for SW/W/NW winds.
