Overview

Les Gouillauds is a kitesurf spot on the south coast of the Ile de Ré, between Rivedoux and La Couarde. The south-facing shore receives south and southwest winds. The tidal range creates varying conditions — at low tide a wide sandy flat is exposed. An alternative spot when north winds render the north coast of the island unsuitable.
