Overview

Hirel is a kitesurf spot on the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel (Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany), known for its exceptional tidal range — one of the largest in the world. The vast flat beach at low tide offers a unique riding environment.

Dominant winds are from North-West and North-North-West, blowing along the bay. The spot is tide-dependent — best sessions are around low tide on the flat sandy expanse.
