Fécamp is a coastal spot on Normandy's Alabaster Coast, dominated by its famous cliffs and historic port (Benedictine distillery, fishing harbour). The beach is mainly pebbles, with a small kite zone accessible in season (summer only). It is a secondary spot compared to neighbouring Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer which has a much larger sandy beach.
For experienced kite and windsurf riders looking for a spontaneous session near Fécamp, the spot works from SW to NW. Available season only, with sanitary facilities. If the conditions are poor or access is closed, nearby Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer (20 km south) is the main reference spot for the region.

Open all year round
Mostly pebble beach — at low tide the bed is sometimes calcite rock, not ideal for kite and boards. Very busy in summer (Fécamp is a tourist destination like Étretat). Kite access is seasonal only (closed off-season). Cliffs nearby: beware of offshore drift. At high tide, very little space on the beach.
Works from SW to NW. Dominant wind from SW to W on this part of the coast. Offshore winds (SE to E) dangerous — do not practice. The proximity of the cliffs creates wind turbulence and acceleration in certain sectors. Open in season only.
