Overview

Spot on the North Sea so there can be nice waves, the advantage is that there are Breakwaters/Jetties 50-80 m from the shore so it's a bit more protected for launching. The launch is easy as it's a sandy beach.
There are 2 kite schools on the spot: Royal Kitesurf School and Surfers Paradise, possibility to rent equipment but it's not cheap either. Be careful not to go into swimming areas in spring/summer as it can get crowded, but ask the 2 schools if in doubt. Surfers Paradise also has a rescue boat just in case.

Wind specificities
The wind can be gusty on the beach as it's cut by tall buildings. Beyond the breakwaters, the wind is more consistent and stronger than at the shore.
Hazards
Watch out for breakwaters when the tide rises as they can be hidden under shallow water.
