Propriano is a kitesurf spot on the west coast of Corsica, in the Gulf of Valinco (Corse-du-Sud). This sheltered bay south of Ajaccio is well oriented for the dominant Libeccio (SW-W wind) that blows strongly along the west coast, particularly in summer afternoons.

The gulf offers relatively flat water protected from the biggest Atlantic swells. Propriano is a small tourist town with good infrastructure. Suitable for intermediate riders looking for reliable westerly sessions in southern Corsica.
