Overview

The Porto Pollo spot is located south of Ajaccio, a 1-hour drive away, in front of the Cyrnos camping site.
The place is particularly well-known in the region for practicing kitesurfing safely as it is suitable for beginners.
 
The Cyrnos camping site, popular among kitesurfers, is ideal for staying directly at the spot. The owner is a very friendly and welcoming Corsican.
The camping site is nice, extremely well located, shaded with good sanitary facilities/showers, and every morning at 8:30 AM, the baker makes his rounds.
 
While waiting for the wind in the morning, you can visit the small village of Porto Pollo, discover the magnificent beaches nearby, or explore the hills by mountain bike.
 
In short, the spot is definitely worth visiting for a few days.

Parking
A free parking lot is available at the spot (about 40 spaces).
Unfortunately, overnight parking is prohibited, which is understandable given the proximity to the Cyrnos camping site.
Wind specificities
THERMAL WIND
The spot works with a thermal wind that usually rises around 11 AM-12 PM with a southerly direction until sunset.

At Porto Pollo, the wind always blows a bit stronger than at the Porticcio spot.
Hazards
The spot is a beautiful sandy beach without rocks or trees.
Be careful to pay attention to swimming areas and boat moorings to the West.
To set up your kite, you can do it in front of the camping site or further upstream (East).
The local association: https://www.kitewindcorsica.fr has issued some recommendations for good relations with beachgoers.
