What makes La Tonnara special is the variety of conditions: flat water sheltered by the islets, and solid waves as soon as you leave the natural shelter. It's the historical home spot of Corsica Kiteboarding, Corsica's oldest kite school.
With West wind (most frequent in Bonifacio), the spot offers freeride and wave conditions — flat in the bay's shallow water, and waves offshore. With East wind (offshore), the water is flat. Depending on conditions, the spot can range from beginner-friendly to expert-only.
The Ventilegne spot sits in the inner bay — a small enclosed bay surrounded by greenery, the birthplace of Corsica Kiteboarding. It works mainly with West/South winds, offering shallow water ideal for beginners.

With East wind: offshore, flat water. Conditions vary greatly depending on whether you sail offshore (at the wind) or in the sheltered bay.
Dominant wind is West, regular in summer. Northwest can be irregular but that's less frequent during summer.
