Ambleteuse is a kitesurf spot on the Côte d'Opale (Pas-de-Calais), between Boulogne-sur-Mer and Calais. This north-facing beach in the English Channel is exposed to the dominant South-West to West winds and also to north-westerly winds typical of the Channel coast.

Large tidal range — significant difference between high and low water. The beach extends far at low tide. Strong winds are common on this stretch of coast, making it more suitable for experienced riders. Impressive white cliff scenery.
