Overview

Kunda is a small port town on Estonia's north coast, facing the Gulf of Finland. The kitesurfing spot is near the harbour, offering an open water body on the gulf.

The coast faces north, towards the Gulf of Finland. North to north-west winds are most favourable, blowing onshore. The bottom is rocky in places with sandy areas. The spot can be exposed in heavy weather.

Kunda is about 100 km east of Tallinn. The season runs from May to October. The spot suits intermediate riders.
