Westward Ho! is a spot in North Devon with a long sand and shingle beach facing northwest, towards Bideford Bay. The spot is well exposed to Atlantic swells and westerly and northwesterly winds. Characteristic Pebble Ridge at the top of the beach.

Hazards
Strong rip currents. Shingle at the top of the beach (Pebble Ridge). Powerful Atlantic swell. Rocks at low tide. Torridge Estuary nearby with strong currents.
