Roa Island is a small island connected to the mainland by a causeway, in Morecambe Bay, Cumbria. The spot offers sheltered waters in the Piel Channel with views of Piel Island and its castle. Flat water conditions at high tide in the channel.

Small car park at the end of the causeway on Roa Island. Very limited spaces.
Hazards
Very strong tidal currents in the channel. Quicksand in the bay at low tide. Access causeway can be submerged during spring tides. Maritime traffic (ferries to Piel Island).
