Large plateau with 360° view, works in all wind directions, except South wind. It's a spot close to Geneva and relatively accessible in winter. The wind can get very strong, if there are too big gusts, fallback spot at St Blaise (Fr). Don't leave anything visible in cars as some people help themselves! Access from Geneva via Annemasse or Le Coin, above Collonge-sur-Salève. Access via La Croisette from Cruseilles or via La Muraz after Reignier.
Parking at the foot of the spot. Note that if there's snow and strong wind forming snowdrifts, access is closed by barriers on each side, you just need to walk up, less than 1/2 hour walk.
Hazards
Also be careful in the middle of the spot where there is a pole surrounded by barbed wire and toward the back of the spot where there are also poles and barbed wire.
Wind specificities
Works in all directions, except South which is gusty and dangerous. Best in N, NE (Bise), SW (Vent), W (Rare).
