Overview

Kovarov is a spot on Lake Lipno, the largest artificial lake in the Czech Republic, at 723 m altitude in the South Bohemian forest near the Austrian border. Lake Lipno is 48 km long and is one of the most popular kitesurf spots in Czechia. The water is shallow in many areas and thermal winds blow regularly in summer. The forest setting is pleasant and the atmosphere relaxed.
