Oostende is the main city and kitesurf spot on the Belgian coast (West Flanders). The wide sandy beach west of the city and port offers good riding conditions with SW/WSW/W/WNW/NW onshore winds. Oostende has a large harbour — stay well away from the port entrance and shipping lanes.
