Oostduinkerke is a kitesurf spot at Oostduinkerke (West Flanders), famous for its UNESCO-listed horseback shrimp fishing tradition. The beach is wide and sandy with the characteristic Belgian North Sea conditions. Dominant wind WSW onshore.

Offshore wind (E/SE) forbidden on the entire Belgian coast. Large tidal range. Share the beach respectfully with local fishermen on horseback — a unique cultural practice listed as UNESCO intangible heritage. Crowded in peak summer season.
