Koksijde Bad is a kitesurf spot at Koksijde (West Flanders), a popular seaside resort. The beach is sandy and wide at low tide, backed by the largest dune system in Belgium (Doornpanne/Oosthoekduinen nature reserve). Dominant winds SW/W/NW and N/NE onshore.

Offshore wind (E/SE) forbidden on the entire Belgian coast. Large tidal range. The dunes provide some wind shadow — rigging should be done on the open beach. Popular holiday resort — crowded in summer, respect swimmer zones.
