Kessenich is a kitesurf spot on the Meuse river (Limbourg), near the Dutch border in the easternmost part of Belgium. The spot is located in a former sand quarry with a large sandy beach — flat Meuse water with no waves. The closest inland kite spot for Liège riders. Wind is somewhat irregular due to the surrounding terrain.

Best winds from South, SSW, SW, WSW and West. Flat freshwater riding with no tidal constraints. A good option when the coast is too windy or for inland riders. Check local access rules for the former quarry site.
