Bredene is a kitesurf spot at Bredene-aan-Zee (West Flanders), east of Oostende. Known for its naturist beach section. Wide sandy beach with dominant N/NE and SW/W/NW onshore winds. A popular spot for the Oostende area kite community.

Offshore wind (E/SE) forbidden on the entire Belgian coast. Large tidal range. Bredene has no high-rise buildings unlike neighbouring resorts — winds tend to be cleaner and less turbulent. Check which beach sections allow kiting (naturist zones have specific rules).
