Overview

Wallersee is a lake in the Salzkammergut region, about 20 km north-east of Salzburg at 510 m altitude. The lake is about 6 km long and 1.5 km wide. It benefits from thermal winds in summer and is a popular local kitesurf spot. The water is relatively warm in summer. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders.
