Overview

Gerlitzenbad is a spot on Ossiacher See, a lake in Carinthia (Kärnten) at 516 m altitude at the foot of the Gerlitzen. The lake is about 11 km long and is one of Austria's warmest lakes in summer (up to 26°C). Thermal winds develop in the afternoon, channeled between the mountains. Ossiacher See is a popular local spot for kitesurfing and wingfoiling in a pleasant alpine setting.
