Lucky Bay is a kitesurf spot located in the southern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia (not to be confused with Lucky Bay in Esperance). This spot offers access to the Indian Ocean from Perth's metropolitan coast. The prevailing winds from the south to southwest, the "Fremantle Doctor", blow side-shore on this west-facing coast. Summer thermal breezes are reliable and consistent. The water is oceanic with moderate chop. The spot is easily accessible from Perth. Parking is available nearby. Watch out for reefs and rocky areas along the coast.
