Spot de Jervis Bay | Moona Moona Creek

Jervis Bay | Moona Moona Creek

Jervis Bay | Moona Moona Creek

Overview

Jervis Bay - Moona Moona Creek is an exceptional kitesurfing spot located in the magnificent Jervis Bay on the south coast of New South Wales. This spot offers crystal-clear waters with light chop, and the Moona Moona Creek sandbar allows for easy and safe launching. In summer, the prevailing northeast wind blows very reliably, cross-onshore from the left, with intensities of 15 to 30 knots. It is one of the windiest spots on the NSW south coast. East, southeast, south and south-southwest winds also work but less consistently. The wind tends to pick up early in the day and becomes gustier late in the afternoon. Jervis Bay is renowned for having the whitest sand in the world and crystal-clear blue waters home to dolphins. The bay also offers excellent conditions for paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkelling. Huskisson, the main village, has restaurants, cafes and accommodation.
