Jakes Point is a kitesurfing and surfing spot located in Kalbarri, Western Australia, about 6 hours north of Perth. This spot is known for its powerful waves and exposed conditions, reserved for advanced and expert riders. The bottom is rocky with reef. The south and southwest winds blow very reliably from November to March, often between 20 and 30 knots. Launching is tricky with a shoreline covered in shells and rocks. The spot is mainly suited for wave kitesurfing. Kalbarri offers a spectacular natural setting with its gorges and cliffs in the national park.
