The spot offers tropical conditions with warm waters year-round. The winds follow a seasonal pattern: the southeast trade winds blow during the dry season (April to October), offering the best conditions. During the wet season, winds shift to the northwest with possible cyclones. The best period is from May to September. Access is from Karratha. The spot is isolated with very limited services.
