Cheyne Bay is a kitesurf spot located on the southern coast of Western Australia, east of Albany. This bay offers a partially sheltered body of water with conditions suited to intermediate riders. The prevailing south to southwest winds blow regularly along this coast. The bay offers some protection, but conditions can be powerful in heavy swell. Summer thermal breezes strengthen the wind. Access is via the coastal roads from Albany. The spot is relatively isolated with limited services. Watch out for rocks and currents in the bay.
