Alva Beach is a kitesurf spot located south of Townsville, in northern Queensland. This beach offers regular wind conditions with the southeast trade winds. The spot works mainly with the southeast trade winds from May to November. Ocean beach with moderate waves. Suitable for intermediate riders. Watch out for jellyfish (stingers) during the wet season (November-May) and saltwater crocodiles.
