Cayo de Agua is one of the most iconic spots in the Los Roques archipelago, Venezuela. This cay is famous for its sandbar connecting two islets, creating a natural lagoon of exceptional beauty. The northeast trade winds blow from December to May between 20 and 30 knots. The lagoon offers a flat and shallow body of water on one side, while the other side is exposed to waves. The water is crystal clear with a white sand bottom. Accessible by boat from Gran Roque (about 45 minutes). It is one of the most remote spots in the archipelago. The spot is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders.
