Laguna del Sauce is a kitesurfing spot in the Maldonado department, Uruguay, near Punta del Este airport. This freshwater lagoon offers a vast flat water body ideal for kitesurfing.

Prevailing winds come from the south, southeast, and northeast, with regular conditions during the season (October to March). The water offers perfect flat conditions for freestyle and learning.

The spot suits beginners thanks to shallow water and flat conditions. Easy access from Punta del Este.
