Tanaka is a kitesurf spot located in the Arequipa region, on the southern coast of Peru. This desert spot offers regular windy conditions in a spectacular setting between desert and ocean. The south to south-east wind blows in the afternoon between 15 and 25 knots from May to December. The coast is exposed to Pacific waves with sometimes powerful swells. The spot is suitable for advanced riders due to the waves and isolation.
