Las Pocitas is a beach located south of Mancora, in the Piura region of northern Peru. This seaside spot offers a sandy beach with natural rock pools formed at low tide. The south wind blows in the afternoon between 12 and 20 knots during the season (March to December). Conditions are generally calmer than at spots further south (Lobitos). The spot is suitable for beginner to intermediate riders. The water is warm year-round thanks to the proximity to the equator. Watch out for rocks at low tide.
