Colan is a beach located in the Piura region, in northern Peru. It is one of the oldest seaside resorts in the country, known for its stilt houses and long sandy beach. The south wind blows in the afternoon between 12 and 18 knots during the season (March to December). The beach is long and offers enough space for kitesurfing. The spot is suitable for beginner to intermediate riders thanks to the wide beach and moderate conditions.
