Baterias is a kitesurfing spot located in the Lobitos/Talara area, in the Piura region of northern Peru. The spot is part of a string of beaches and rocky headlands that characterize this coast. The south to southeast wind blows regularly in the afternoon, between 15 and 25 knots, from March to December. The wind is side-offshore on this west-facing coast. The spot is suitable for advanced riders due to the side-offshore wind and sometimes challenging conditions.
